We are the sole owner of any information we collect. We never sell, share, or rent this information unless we first disclose the fact in this privacy statement. We collect data on the site in six ways.

User Registration

We ask for your email address if you register with the site. We use this information to contact you about youngindependence.co.uk and let you know what Young Independence and UKIP are doing. You may optionally supply additional information such as your name and address details to help us tailor your experience.

Join and Donate

To join and donate to the UK Independence party through this site you will be directed to fill in a registration form, this is then sent to the main UK Independence Party. This information is not held by Young Independence.

If you donate more than £5,000 to the Party via the main party website, we are obliged under the Political Parties Elections and Referendums Act 2000 to report such a donation to the Electoral Commission, who will publish the fact that you have made a donation over £5,000. Under the Political Party Elections and Referendums Act 2000 (PPERA) you must be on the electoral register in the UK excluding the Channel Islands and the Isle of Man in order to make a donation of more than £200.

Contact/Feedback

If you send us a message using our contact forms we collect your name, email address and comments. This data will be used by ourselves and our agents for contacting you. You may opt out of any future mailing.

Polls

To participate in a poll we will store your IP (Internet Protocol) address with your response and place a cookie on your web browser. This information is used to validate the responses of the polls.
