Exeter Students
Posted October 7th, 2007 by michaelwilcox
I've recently started Economics with Econometrics at Exeter University and I would be interested in knowing if there are any other UKIP members here (or perhaps applicants for next year) who would be interested in the setting up of a society here. I know little of how to go about setting up a society, nor how many members are required but it would be good to get the party established here. So if you're a student here, please get in contact with me somehow so we can discuss the future of the party at our university!

Getting our message into
Getting our message into universities is THE key component which YI is going to thrive or die on.
Michael, we will be working hard to help you and others like you ASAP It's just a matter of getting the structure in place at present.
Branch Starter Guides
Hi Michael - we hope to be able to provide you with a branch starter guide very soon. The format would probably be some packs made up of an application form, glossy info on YI and a pen to give to prospective members and also a basic guide for the branch organiser on how to set up a branch. We can add to this as we grow but it will be a start. We hope that the website will be the main place for communication between membership - supported by tempters to get people interested. In the meantime - would you like to be added as the contact for Exeter University on the Map? You need only forward things through to me at siteadmin@youngindependence.org and I can help to get any questions answered or assist membership applications.
