How does everyone feel the Party is going?

So we know that UKIP is the true euroscpetic voice of Britain, but we need to be about so much more than that. We have a very conservative/libertarian manifesto now which I think would really appeal to a lot of the general public. The problem is, we need to get people more informed about the Party.
Do you guys think the Party is doing enough to stop people thinking we're nothing more than the Kilroy Party? What do you think the Party could be doing to broaden our horizons and our potential support, or do you feel that it is only a matter of time now before the Party grows to a much bigger level?
I'm interested to hear what you guys think about the state of UKIP.

My view
I'm disappointed by how slow things are going. However, you have to be in it for the long run to see success, it takes time to establish a party. I'm convinced our biggest problems are credibility. Why? Because we are quite small, we have yet to make a breakthrough in domestic politics and because we don't have enough clout to get into the news often enough. Until we make a breakthrough progress is going to be slow and difficult because a lot of people take on the attitude of "but you'll never get in." They believe their vote is not powerful enough to sway the election in our favour and hence they vote big three "because I don't want the opposition/incumbent to get in." Once we build enough of a vote to challenge the consensus parties, LabLabCon, people will be more keen to vote for us as they will see we have an opportunity to win elections. With electoral success we will receive further media coverage and will be able to make a better impact. Unlike the Lib Dems who have made little to no progress in the past few years in the scale we require, we have a different product which stands us out of the crowd of political parties.
Of course, another problem is that too many people still do not know enough about us, or perhaps even know who we are at all.
A bit of a ropey explanation of my thoughts there, a few holes.
I think we need a fresh
I think we need a fresh start. The whole image of UKIP needs to change.
Nigel Farage said he would renew UKIP's image and he hasn't done that yet. After that the Party needs to start talking about other issues other than the EU.
Also the leadership should issue press releases on UKIP's point of view on current events.
UKIP future?.
Hi Michael.
I feel that sometimes the leadership and the meps dont always listen to what the public want instead they go round doing what they feel is best the for the party and for the public they need to understand that letting the public get more involved and listening the to the members of the party will make things go more smoothley and just saying the ( EU does this and it says that)doesnt always help us in voting terms we to need to help the public that understand that their lives are now pritty much run by the EU and voting or complaning to their local or govenment departments will do nothing to change their problems that they have.
The last few months havent been very helpful for UKIP with like the recent court case in volving an illegal donation to us and the local elections letting us down and the media plus the BBC trying to make sure that we dont get enough public viewing.
But some good news this year like getting two house of lords peers on our side has helped in some ways.
But now we really need to start listening to the public and how we can help them if they vote for us as we may now be the only small party that stands a chance of starting to gain power to give the people their live back and to sort out the mess that our country is in.
