About Us

Young Independence is the Social and Political Home for everyone under 35 yrs of age, including all members of UKIP of this age. Our aims are all about involving young people in politics and addressing the issues that matter to them and our country

Young Independence is growing in membership very rapidly, Many of our members are standing in this years local elections and are PPC's for the general Election.

Young Independence holds Fresher Fairs, Political Awareness Days, Word social gatherings, Leafleting in support of Elections.

Many of these are organised by individual branches, which are based in cities, constituencies and on campuses. Members of Young Independence also have the opportunity to get involved in campaign activity – supporting and standing as UKIP candidates in elections at all levels, from student politics to Westminster.

Young Independence members can help set the agenda of the Party - influencing the politics of our country. The organisation is a vital element of the UKIP Party’s struggle to bring true democracy to this country by leaving the EU – and there has never been a better opportunity to get involved.
