In an advancing and modern world, trade and money are key issues and the ablity to trade and turn a profit while keeping your customers happy is what helps make the world go round.
Sadly in places like the European Union, trying to trade and make profits to keep that trade going is becoming a much harder prospect. Unlike the free market, the EU's social market believes in tracking and taking money that you earn, before telling what you can and can't sell. It is driving big markets and business out of the EU abroad.
Great Britain as a historic world trading nation and has enjoyed a rich history of profit, trade and big business due to adapting and going after big trade routes. Because of this it has made us one of the most successful trading nations of the world.
Sadly due to joining the EEC (European Economic Community) or Common Market in the 1970's which would later become the European Union, Britain lost her ablity to decide how it later traded and did business throughout the world as EEC rules say that trade to the world must been done through it's harmonised system of trade.
Also due to joining the then EEC the nations that have been great friends and trading nations of Britain like USA, Australia, New Zealand, Canada and many others, are blocked out by Britain allowing EU laws to over ride UK laws and say that the nations outside the EU must go through it's channels to trade with nations inside the EU.
This is where the free market idea is messed up for independent nations like Britain as once you start telling nations and people that use the free market how to trade then businesses feel stuck and may have to consider where they set up their base.
Sadly the EU to this day, doesn't get or understand the idea that if you start telling people and nations how to got about their business, what they can trade and how they can look after their profits, that the traders will start to consider their options of how to operate and where to operate in.
Thanks to today's EU membership we have a growing trade deficit and with more EU laws and regulations affecting trade and profit in Britain and it goes to show that EU free trade and NOT political union membership is the best way for Britain if we want to start encourging trade, profit and business back to our shores. The European nations need us as a trading nation, far more then we need them. We should be linked economically, not politically.
Because while we remain a member of it's union and laws, we are losing our trade. Our trade ties in with the rest of the world and we must once again become a global, not simply European, trading nation.
