I disagree with some of the policies in UKIP, particularly with respect to the use of nuclear power. As a student who has studied chemistry I can't justify the use of Uranium as it is still a finite resource which will only push this problem further away and not solve it.
However I agree that the EU has got too much power and it would probably be the best for the UK to come out of the EU. I think the trading ties must stay but any more than that should be avoided.
Yes, you are right. Uranium is not a renewable source of energy. Its supply IS limited, however there is enough of it to power Britain for several millennia. Did you know that 1kg of uranium can create the energy equivalent of over 400,000 litres of oil?. Its also about as a cheap as coal. Plus, there is over 100 tonnes of it without a purpose hear in the UK. France is making a fortune by exporting nuclear powered energy to neighbouring countries. So can't we?. Nuclear power is better for both the environment and the economy, so let's all start using it.
Also, I would join but I'm only 15 and I'm not sure if I'm allowed - or how to do so.
