Young Independence member elected onto local branch committee

Kelvin Mirfin, a young UKIP and Young Independence member has successfully been elected to the position of Secretary on his local branch of Stockton-on-Tees. This is great news for all concerned. This local branch now have a young voice in order to stay in touch with the youth in the constituency area.

'I am very enthusiastic to get started in my job at the local branch and also will be making my self heard among the young and will be getting very involved with Young Independence' - says Kelvin.

He will also benefit from increased committee and decision making experience that comes with being an active members of a local branch. Kelvin attended the UKIP party conference in London and stated his intention to work with Young Independence and get involved in any way he could. He is a very enthusiastic and mature young adult and I look forward to working with him on a regular basis.

I would like to encourage all members of Young Independence to contact their local branches and get involved. This is very welcome news and I hope more of the same follows.
